How we make these
Every WhyLatch reel starts with a question someone might actually ask.
The script is written with AI and fact-checked against web sources. The sources it was checked against are listed on each reel's page, beside the claim each one backs. A claim about health is held to a health authority or a systematic review.
The voice and the pictures are made with AI tools. Nothing in a reel is filmed, and no one in it is real.
A human editor reviews every reel before it's posted: they watch the video, read its script, its sources and its post, and sign it off. Every post says how it was made.
The labels you'll see
Every upload has the platform's AI label turned on:
- Instagram: AI label on (Meta's "AI info"; once called "Made with AI")
- Facebook: AI label on (Meta's "AI info"; once called "Made with AI")
- YouTube: Altered or synthetic content: Yes (Studio's "AI use": Yes)
Corrections
When we change a claim in a published reel, its page says what changed and when, and so does the Corrections page. Spotted a mistake? Write to us and we'll look at it. Every correction so far.
